I’ve been inducted into the Hawaii Writers Guild!
I first went to Hawaii in 1973, and have returned at least once a year since, sometimes to give scientific talks or consult on building high performance computing centers or improving medical education and research, sometimes to attend scientific conference (such as the Pacific Symposium on Biocomputing), and recently to attend the Kauai Writers Conference. Way back in 1979 I even sold enclopedias door-to-door on multiple islands. Oh, and sometimes I go just for fun.
So, though I don’t live in Paradise, like most of the HWG members, it lives in me.
